Projects
  • Walkers
WalkersThe brief for this project was to create a new campaign for Walkers crisps that could be used in 2017. My ideas were inspired by the fact that walkers support sport, especially Leister City football club and even have ex Leister City footballer Gary Lineker as their spokesperson. However it is clear that crisps are not the healthiest snack, so why not create a campaign to battle this stigma. That’s when I came up with the idea for “Walk it Off”, a campaign that would encourage an active lifestyl
  • Freakonomics
FreakonomicsThis was a penguin book cover I created for the book Freakonomics that I was shortlisted for. My inspiration for the roulette wheel came from watching the Freakonomics documentary and when an expert was asked a question he said, “it’s a gamble”. From there I thought about casinos and gambling and how economics related to the betting industry. Originally I wanted to have a roulette wheel with different names to represent a chapter in the book. But that soon developed into symbols that related to sections of the book instead. I also used poker chips and playing cards as a way to show the text. With all these elements combined I was able to create something unique enough to stand out in stores.
  • JKR Sourz
JKR SourzThis was a competition brief, we were asked to create a range of Sourz drinks aimed at an older, more mature audience. The theme had to be the 7 sins or atmospheres. I chose the 7 sins, creating a design for each sin. I wanted to find a way to make the sins sexier and fun as opposed to the idea of them being bad things, for example calling wrath passion, giving the sin different connotations. I also used the eyes as the motif of the collection; this was inspired by the idea of eyes being the window to the soul but also a unique design to have in bars and shops.

My dad is a photographer and since I was 15/16 I've helped where I can for some pocket money. I learnt how to take a good picture and how to work with clients and customers. Since being at uni I have not been as involved as I used to be but still did the occasional event.
