About

AUSTRIANFASHION.NET is a non-profit organisation focusing on fashion, design, culture, and society. The initiatives are diverse, ranging from cultural and information communication, platform activities and exhibitions to publications. The association’s aim is to promote international networking based on the diversity of cultural practices in the field of fashion. AUSTRIANFASHION.NET creates links between fashion, design, art, technology, and crafts by providing up-to-date, in-depth information through a wide range of disciplines. We explore fashion cultures and how they relate within a wider artistic, theoretical, and social context. The spectrum of themes ranges from education and the practices of past and contemporary fashion designers to influencing factors such as youth culture and political and economic conditions.
