the B2B Marketing judges commented: “Against a strong field, Brands2Life gave the most comprehensive presentation of all the candidate agencies. They demonstrated strengths across all of the criteria being assessed, in particular their staff and community engagement. They also impressed the judges with their drive to keep improving and to never settle for ‘just doing a good job’, despite presenting notable project results with well-known brands. Very well done to an agency brimming with ambition, talent and passion!”
London, 26th April 2019 – Last night, Brands2Life won PR Week’s Best Places to Work Award – Large Agency category. The awards scheme is the PR industry’s definitive barometer on the leading agency employers in the UK. In addition to taking home the top award of the night, Brands2Life also won the Organisational Health Award, recognising the agency’s extensive mental health policies. Judges praised Brands2Life’s industry leading employee benefits such as our interest-free financial assistance programme ‘LIFE LOANS’ to help staff ease the costs of moving house or to be used towards non- work related personal development. Our commitment and investment in training and development was also commended, with judges highlighting the bespoke training programmes designed on staff feedback as well as staff enjoying at least one formal training session a month in addition to company-wide training events. Our long-standing sabbatical programme which enables employees to take two months at half pay and one month at full pay at four years, and one month on full pay after eight and 12 years also impressed the judging panel. Finally, in a year where mental health has become a key talking point in the marketing profession, we scored highly on our extensive mental health programme. The judges commended our mental health in the workplace training for managers and our employee assistance programme whereby staff can benefit from phone and face-to-face counselling including mental, health, family, financial debt and legal help. Sarah Scales, Co-Founder commented on the award win, “When we started Brands2Life 19 years ago we had a plan to create a different type of agency, and the employee experience was central to our ambitions. We wanted to create an agency where our people enjoyed fulfilling careers in a supportive environment and this award reinforces the excellent staff experience we have developed. We all live and breathe by our values of ambition, integrity, commitment, mutual respect and enjoyment and we think this culture has helped us foster an environment where people want to stay and build their careers with us. Over the last year, the well-being of our people has been a major priority for us and we have put in place a number of policies to ensure our staff have access to the support they need. We’re really proud of this achievement and for being recognised as one of the agencies leading the way on creating a benefits package that not only looks after our staff’s physical health but their mental wellbeing too.” The Best Places to Work Awards are supported by CALM and REBA, the reward and employee benefits association.
