Cause2Create

Cause2Create is a not-for-profit organisation which brings together creative people so they can use their talents and passions to affect real change. We are providing a platform for collaboration and problem solving between the creative industries and the third sector. In short this is a way to help creative companies and people do more than just donate money to charity. We are encouraging people to donate their greatest commodities; their time, skills and ideas. Those who work in creative industries are encouraged to think outside the box, and it’s this kind of thinking that can be used to support great causes. The official launch of Cause2Create will be marked by a unique two-day event from 11th-12th November across 10+ venues across Hackney Wick in London. The event will focus on the global refugee crisis. These two days and beyond will be an opportunity to address certain issues and problems and develop real practical fixes which genuinely change things for the better. The event includes: an immersive theatre experience with Sitcom Design, A Home for Winter and Don’t Panic; professional hacks with Good Innovation, Two Igloos and Young Creative Council; an art and photography trail in association with Help Refugees and The Worldwide Tribe, an outstanding line up of talks, public workshops and interactive entertainment for adults and children; film screenings and Q&As; live music; street food and more. We are also hosting a B2B development afternoon for creative, third sector and business innovators to help shape the platform and begin solving problems. How can you get involved?
