CHL Hub.

Creating a youth, creative, collaborative culture.

About

What started out as a student-run creative careers conference at Warwick University in reaction to its lack of support for creative students, has since grown into a platform that works to tackle the knowledge, access & opportunity gap standing in between young people and the creative/media industry. CHL (formerly CreateHerLane), seeks to bridge this gap through collaboration on two fronts: first between young creatives and each other, second, between young creatives and like-minded brands. CHL is built on the premise that youth creativity, if given the right opportunity and space, can be a transformative force! Through our new Facebook community – The Hub – young creatives, entrepreneurs & students have been given access to an inclusive, digital space where they have been for the past month, sharing their work, collaborating, building relevant relationships and gaining access to relevant job opportunities in the creative sector. Our aim is also for this community of creatives to be a pool through which brands can create & sustain relevant, meaningful relationships with a younger, diverse audience, either through collaborating with our creatives on a freelance basis (e.g. for campaigns), or headhunting them directly. Given the success of our past events and workshops, this year, CHL aims to work with brands to continue our culture of keeping young talent informed on the array of opportunities available to them in the industry and how they can access them and build a successful future. TL;DR: We want to give young creatives opportunities, while building a diverse industry, all through the power of collaboration.
