Creative Equals aims to get adland to take proactive steps towards gender diversity within creative departments – and, most importantly, at leadership level. The lack of female creative leadership and role models is widely talked about, but no organisation is committed to making real change happen. That’s where Creative Equals comes in. We believe change comes from within agencies, from the way agencies approach hiring all the way to the top. By working closely with agencies over the next five years, we want truly change the ratio so it reflects the world we live in. What are we asking? We want agencies to create more pathways for female talent from hiring to mentoring and giving them the support they need to make it to senior leadership roles. What’s coming? In the next few months, we’ll be adding news, events, workshops, a female portfolio showcase – and more partners.
