About
At DAME we’re on a mission to make periods positive, for women and the planet. We’re cleaning up the period industry, focusing on plastic waste, harsh chemicals and period shame. Founders Alec and Celia used to run a tampon subscription service, delivering menstrual products to women around the UK every month. It was here they saw first hand the amount of plastic waste produced by these small everyday products and how manufacturers failed to disclose their ingredients. They believed that women and the planet deserves better, so they stopped selling products they no longer believed in, and set about rethinking period products for the 21st Century. Welcome to DAME. It’s time to bleed red, think green.
