It helps you keep in touch with friends and family, promotes safety as well as allowing you to connect with those you meet along the way. The app enables you to check-in and store your travel experiences into easily manageable folders. You can live share these check-ins with friends, but, unlike apps like Facebook, where you share everything with everyone, or Find my Friends where your location is always available, HOOF allows you to create groups, similar to WhatsApp, that means you control who sees your check-ins. Furthermore, once you’ve checked-in, the app will connect you with your friends, telling you who else within your selected groups is near you, alerting them that you’ve just checked-in nearby.
