Artist Hugo Dalton’s work is drawn from life, he creates works which are directly painted or projected onto walls. Graduating from Goldsmiths College, London his works have been exhibited at Victoria and Albert Museum, London, The Carousel de Louvre, Paris, The Courtauld Institute, London and The Today Museum, Beijing. Dalton has always sort to work collaboratively with individuals and institutions to encourage new audiences and interpretations: Recently with choreographer Chistopher Wheeldon at the Royal Opera House, London. His collectors include Kay Saatchi, Anthony de Rothschild, Sam Parker Bowles and David Roberts. He has new permanent work at the Royal Albert Hall and is artist in residence at the Royal College of Music. Art historian and critic Edward Lucie-Smith termed his work a “rebellion towards elegance”.
