Khayal (Arabic: خيال) a Term in Classical Arabic literature which means "imagination, reflection, illusion, phantom, apparition, fantasy, vision;" Khayal Productions is a Libyan production company based in Tripoli, Libya. Focused on creating and developing a network of audio-visual artists to revive the Libyan cinema industry. The company is founded by young Libyan filmmakers and based on collaborations between local filmmakers and internationals to provide high quality production and build capacity and capability in the local art community. From short animated films to documentaries, PSA’s, Commercials and feature films Khayal production’s team aims covers a wide range of audio-visual activities.
