About

Artist portfolio website. Artist biography: I was born in the cold but picturesque country of Norway, and have also spent half of my life in the ever so similar county of Sweden. This Viking currently lives in London, invading the UK for a second time. All my life, I have enjoyed being creative in various ways, whether through paint, coal, pencil, clay, textiles, music, dance, written text, even acting. Due to my great interest in the creative, I studied Arts & Design, as well as Stage Performance Music. I got my education in Sweden. During my first year in college, I was introduced to Digital Arts. Once I had downloaded Photoshop, gotten my own drawing pad, and put my hands to work, I fell in love with it. Ever since, Digital Arts has been my favourite medium. When painting in Photoshop, imitating an oil painting effect is the most preferred technique. Blending the colours well is key. Achieving the wished result can be greatly time-consuming. Each artwork may take 50-200 hours to finish. What I enjoy to paint the most are portraits or animals. With the smallest of details, I can reflect a person’s or animal's feelings, character, or interests. I want those who see my art to relate to what I paint, or in some way have an understanding of what the artwork signifies. My art does not have to be admired by everyone who sees it, but I wish for people to pause and ponder on what I have made. If my paintings stir up any kind of feelings or ideas, I have hit home.
