Lonetree

“Everyday objects are so often beautiful, yet all too often overlooked. " Founded in 2011, Lonetree is the brainchild of two sisters, Emma Bensalem and Sara Hall. Taking time out from a career as a practicing architect to have her daughter provided Emma with the perfect opportunity to indulge her passion for photography and printing; happily, this change in direction coincided with her sister Sara’s relocation from London, where she had been working as a fine food buyer. It did not take them both long to realise that the combination of their skills would be a recipe for success – and so Lonetree was born. Lonetree now has a faithful following, including some wonderful stores and galleries, such as Liberty of London, Waterstones, The National Maritime Museum, not to mention many lovely independent stores in the UK and abroad. Owing to their success in the world of paper Lonetree have also launched, in 2015, their Design Hub where many of their collections can now be accessed by customers to use on other lifestyle products, from ceramics and textiles to prints and stationery, as well as offering an independent design service to companies looking for product and packaging artwork.
