About
At our Somerset House ‘Mothership’ in central London we are kickstarting the third industrial revolution by building a thriving and diverse community of the best makers. We provide affordable space, tools and cutting edge workshop facilities to our member businesses as well as opportunities for collaborations, projects, investment and funding. At Makerversity we’re committed to providing alternative and free routes to hands-on learning for young people. We aim to inspire the next generation of creative and practical minds through a range of activities. These include building learning programmes with partners such as the Prince's Trust, Internships and work placements with our member businesses, and developing hands-on lessons for teachers and learners everywhere. Makerversity hosts a vibrant events programme of talks, tours and hands on workshops with partners such as the V and A and British Council. We also host retail a spaces for the latest products made by our members.
