Polly Tootal was born in, UK and has lived and worked in London since graduating. She read Editorial Photography under Magnum photographer Mark Power at the University of Brighton and since has won the Prix Du Public Ville D’Hyeres Photographie, Association of Photographers Award; commissioned work for the Southbank Centre & Hayward Touring Exhibition London - alongside Walker Evans Photographs 1935 – 1936. Recent editorial commissions include; Print feature in GUP and LVMH Magazines. A landscape photo story about Monaco for Madame Figaro Magazine commissioned by guest editor Princess Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco. Polly has had solo and group exhibitions at galleries and cultural institutes in London, Venice and San Diego, USA. Her work is held in several private collections in the USA, Europe and the UK.
