The School of Communication Arts is a social enterprise school for Creatives (Art Directors and Copywriters), supported by over 100 agencies. Thirty eight students are chosen from over 2500 applicants, they are selected based on their creative self rather than on how much money they have or their educational background. With the sponsorship received from the industry SCA aims to ensure diversity in those entering the creative industry, All sponsorship support pays for scholarships, of which we are proud to have 11 scholars in 2014/2015 academic year. Whilst some agencies are able to offer sponsorship, others donate time, by sending their staff down to the school to mentor in our studio. Some do both, and much more. SCA is fortunate enough to benefit from a mentor network of over 800 industry professionals who come in and help the students as they work on over 50, both live and portfolio briefs, through the year.
