studio FM milano was founded in 1996 by Barbara Forni and Sergio Menichelli, who were joined in 1999 by Cristiano Bottino as a partner. We specialise in graphic design and visual communication in diversified areas such as fashion, industrial design, architecture, culture and institutions, and industry. studio FM milano has worked for such national and international clients as Altagamma, Arclinea, Benetton, Boffi, Brioni, BTicino, Cassina, Electrolux, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gianfranco Ferrè, Hachette Rusconi, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, NDIA (Doha New International Airport), Poltrona Frau, the RCS group, Sergio Rossi, Tecno, Technogym, Valentino, Versace, and Victorinox(Künzi). Our graphic design projects have been exhibited in museums and at cultural events, including the Milan Triennale (2012 and 2007), Multiverso in Turin (2008), the 20th International Biennale of Graphic Design, Brno (2002), ADI Design Index (2000 and 2005) and have been cited in various publications and specialist magazines including Ètapes, Progetto Grafico, Abitare, Idea Magazine, Logos Design, Domus, Web Design Navigation (Taschen), etc. Over the years we have received numerous international awards, including at the European Design Awards between 2008 and 2012, honouring our work. This is one reason why studio FM milano was invited to become part of the European Design Leaders, an exclusive group of certified international graphic design producers of the highest quality. The partners have always considered teaching activities as a fundamentally important way to exchange ideas and develop. Since 2001 the most important places where we have taught are ISIA (Urbino), IUAV (San Marino), NABA (Milan), the Milan Polytechnic University, IED (Milan), the Polytechnic School of Design (Milan) and SUPSI (Lugano).
