The first project, entitled 14-0848 TCX, refers to a specific Pantone colour called Mimosa; named after a flower with a deep, strong yellow-orange tone. This tone is the starting point of the project, and forms the main colour in my palette. From this colour, everything is blended into white.

The two main inspirations for the Multi-Seasonal Collection 2015/16 are Anthony Carlo’s installation work and Richard Diebenkorn's 'Ocean Park Series'. In particular, the non-objective approach of order and chaos, and the importance of colour in Diebenkorn's compositions. Combined with the light-coloured collage, and the sensibility of collaging and layering within a certain geometrical frame. For me, all these artistic approaches represent a strong and engaging power in themselves, especially the finesse shown through shading layered colours, by painting and overpainting, or the interplay of shadow and light. As starting point, I took a knitted swatch with a colour gradient from white to yellow, of integrated silk organza threads inspired by a photography of Viviane Sassen.
