The conceptual idea was to intervene in a space and create a “chaos bubble” by using sound and visual design. As its physical counterpart, it will be about the exploration of the sensorial system and human perception, subverting these senses in a way that is unexpected. XNX takes its name from the music project developed by Ilidio Chaves. This installation was developed alongside with the artist and explores his conceptual statement on the music scene - a drone chaotic composition developed with a quadraphonic modular system. The only illumination of this room was a synchronized light strobe that reacted to the XNX’s music continuously playing in the background. This piece was premiered at Semibreve Festival in 2014.
