Entering into 2021, many would have hoped we would be on the downward trajectory of the coronavirus pandemic, with governments worldwide having taken decisive action to roll out vaccinations and get their economies re-started, but for all the talk of a new dawn emerging in 2021, this year may still be one of uncertainty. It is not all negative news though, as businesses, brands, and people in general have had close to a year living with the virus and have risen to the challenge by learning to adapt, by adopting agility as a part of the new modern armour in business and in life. So how can the industry move forward in 2021 and beyond, from dealing directly with the threat through designing products that address the changed environment (The Veiled Threat), to embracing the reality that this next era will be one focussed on ‘Resonating’ - building empathy, emotion, and shared beliefs (The Era of Resonating).
