Our everyday interactions with light fall in to two distinct categories, artificial light and natural light. Is there an oppourtunity to create an expereince with light that merges the two; and how might this translate in to a product, service and brand?

Inspired by the unique appreciation of shadows in Japanese interiors, the brand 影 (Kage) explores the main values and characteristics of natural light and interprets these into, customisable, dynamic artificial home lighting products that create a comforting emotional climate and promote the act of mindfulness.
