Concept, development, photography, type work, book design and construction by hand.
By using a grid developed to fit within the structure of the face, I was able to determine the suitable typeface, style and size to match each person. Added to this was the tone of the letter which matches that of the subjects skin. Each face has their own unique structure and this project aims to find the typeface that best suits the character of the subject.
