35mm Film Girl

Film noir and strong female roles have always been an inspiration for me. The imagery created with these themes are artistic and can narrate a story. Strong lighting that creates strong shadows to reveal only what you as the photographer wants to show the audience. I love to work with film cameras, these in particular were shot on 35mm film. Putting together a look for an image is a very important element to achieve the look and theme that I want as a result. Everything in taken is consideration from the location to the model, complexion and all. It is important for me to work with what I have available at the time to allow for a more organic shot which in turn gives me the opportunity to learn with new experiences.
