ISTD 2018 - Awarded Merit In answer to the Anniversaries brief I chose the Balfour Declaration as my subject, and the conflict this has created over the past 100 years between Israel and Palestine. Following my extensive research, I decided to present this topic through a series of anonymous poems on the issue. I created a loose leaf book, presented in a clamshell box. The book opens with an introduction and the declaration; followed by a series of 67 poems and news article excerpts.
