Candle Holder True to its name, 721 Grams is made of high quality, hand polished brass and all pieces can be assembled and reassembled into countless shapes and sizes. It’s a modular concept allowing to personalize the candle holder to any social setting, from dressing up a long, elegant table to creating a more cosy, intimate atmosphere. It’s up to the user to design the overall look of the candle holder in its entirety. One can feel the high quality in the weight of each piece (721g), hence the name, and enjoy the interactive experience of arranging each one into different configurations. Every piece is engineered to fit perfectly together which makes for an open invitation to interact with them. “The inspiration for 721 grams comes from a desire to create a candleholder in the traditions of the past using a premium, natural material that would retain its value over time.” IG, Zurich 2015 721 grams won a special mention at the 2015 German Design Awards for Excellent Product Design. Production Process: The solid brass material is heated and then forged into shape. After forging, the candle holder is CNC- machined into exact measurements. The candle holder is finished by undergoing a mirror polishing by skilled craftsmen.
