INTERACTIVE DINNER TABLE USER INTERFACE DESIGN
Project Overview
A project developed for the London Design Festival 2016 exhibition to give the local community an insight into the changing face of SE1. The interactive dinner table uses cuisine to reflect the development of the culture and communities of SE1 over the last 100 years. Food information is visualised by rotating the plate and comes served with social and historical facts from the area. The historical eating habits of the area’s residents were collected from current residents, markets and family restaurants in SE1, the library of SE1, the British Library, and online databases.
