A Midsummer Night's Dream (Woodland) Wedding

  • Jessica Corbridge

The overarching theme for the wedding was a Midsummer Night's Dream. By consolidating a colour scheme of dark green, ivory, gold and black; using natural textures; and adopting elements of the popular botanical style, we created a magical woodland realm. “Jessica has a natural flair for the creative, combined with a fierce determination to ensure that only the very best event is produced on the day. She leaves nothing to chance, every detail of the wedding had been planned meticulously, from the colour scheme of the bridal party flowers, to an imaginative homemade backdrop for the photo-booth. The ability to create a wedding with such a flawless appearance, captivating the very essence of a ‘Midsummer Nights Dream’ in both the design and functionality of the wedding breakfast layout was excellent. I highly recommend Jessica’s event organising talents and fully believe she would thrive within a job role that would widen her existing skillset within a corporate event environment.”- EA Photography Credit: Sue Hill Photography

I authored and illustrated the wedding stationary suite. (Please note that the font designs and leaf stamp motif are not my own - purchased from The English Stamp Company.) Save the dates were aptly renamed Leave the Dates.
Special Touch: One half of the couple attended Nottingham University. An archery inspired table plan felt rather befitting.
Special Touch: Favours comprising of two vials of tea, reflecting the heritage of the couple, tied together with a label marked ‘The Perfect Blend.’ A subtle reference to the love potion used by Puck.
Special Touch: Another favourite piece was the bespoke photobooth sporting a rather appropriate ass's head and gold nymph masks worthy of Titania's glen!
