As usual, I work collaboratively, sharing responsibility for idea generation, concept development, picture editing, and layout development. I’m always actively involved with the writing and editing too.
Working with Anna Douglas always results in a volume that will have meaning long after the associated event or exhibition has closed.
In 2014 we made this small but hard working edition to support an architectual heritage project focused on Anna’s home, one of four modernist single-story terraced houses built in 1960.
Curated by Anna, a range of events included a local interest tea party and exhibition, a play written by Vanessa Oakes performed in the house, and open-house days for an interested public.
The event was covered by national media. A copy of this piece is held by the V&A archive.
