A Star for a Michelin Star

KISKO CATERING Kisko García is a well known Michelin Star Spanish Chef. He decided that apart from his restaurant in Córdoba (Spain) he wanted to create his own Catering Company. For Kisko it was very important to find a very deep connection between the new brand concept and Córdoba as his kitchen essence is based on Córdoba's tradition. Our job was to find a way to fuse his Cordoba roots with his Michelin Star status and cook these two ingredients slowly to make a very tasty Catering brand. The idea: After doing a lot of research we founded a very interesting fact in Cordoba’s cultural history. “Cordoba’s proportion” has been considered in the analysis of numerous works of art and architecture. Based on this proportion, there are numerous polygonal shapes. The combination of such shapes can generate beautiful drawings and mosaics with irregular polygons. Based on the "Cordoba’s Rectangle " and a square we obtained a regular octagon that formed 2 stars with 8 points. This geometry is visibly present in numerous buildings and specially in the Mosque of Córdoba. Based on this interesting fact we decided to build our own and unique Star for Kisko. One that would truly represent his Cordoba’s roots and insinuate in an elegant way his Michelin Star award.
