Slide Film images based on three seperate projects; Plant, Shadow and a 'Weekend'. Ultimately my ambition for this project was to generate an emotive response. I wanted the viewer to experience a sense of freedom and escapism, forgetting their current situation to delve into another world.
This work is based on 3 projects that have been shot using slide film. All three projects were shown in one slide projection setup. I wanted the focus of each project to be simple; the first based on plants, the second based on shadows, and the third based on the idea of a ‘weekend’.
My goal was to create narrative and to create an idyllic dream state based on simple objects, differently lit and positioned, whilst focusing on creating a feeling tone which was achieved through focusing on colour and lighting.
