ABSOLUT MOMENT

Extending the potential of art beyond the gallery and artists
In this project, we were given a brief of designing a unique object / product for ABSOLUT, a vodka maker, that displays their brand values and experiences. We identified ABSOLUT’s strong value in “transformation”: the brand has proven its ability to transform something mundane to extraodinary iconic products, over and over.
Since art has been focus of ABSOLUT in past years, we explored a method in which ABSOLUTE could transform art to something open for everyone to engage, and outside of galleries and museums. We experimented possibilities of different engagement and interventions towards the viewers, and ultimately, implemented a colour changing board, that could be used to transform bathrooms into galleries, and boresome urinating into an act of art.
