This is the second piece of embroidery I made for a group exhibition hosted by art collective Bleur. It was exploring the feeling of the quarter-life crisis. The exhibition took place in Bermondsey, London at the end of February 2020. “Write a list of all your achievements and look at them daily. Wow! So many!” I wanted to emphasise that even if you’re not where you want to be yet in your career, it shouldn’t diminish the work you have already accomplished. It's made from cotton thread sewn into linen, then a cotton fabric is hand stitched on the back. Two hooks were added for the exhibition.
