adidas UK - GB Olympic Kit Launch
After a year's postponement and a lot of anticipation, we were finally able to collaborate with Team GB & Para GB to launch their Tokyo Olympics kit.
A special day for any athlete involved, our Partner Publishing strategy comprised of activating 6x athletes (Covid limit) at the launch at Somerset House in Central London, whilst also briefing a further 12 partners with pre-captured content, and then a further 13 partners through a Partner Generated Content (PGC) brief.
The narrative for the launch was 'We Rise', alluding to The Games taking place in Japan and the rising sun, but also applying the messaging to our squad of athletes who are the next generation of superstars, ready to rise to the occasion.
My brilliant colleagues also extended the launch through PR, landing coverage on multiple mainstream TV breakfast shows as well as sports and fashion media publications. The launch was also executed on our owned social channels, collaborating with London communities to show their support for Team GB.
