ADVICE FROM EVE LEE, FOUNDER OF DIGITAL BRANDING AGENCY DIGITAL FAIRY

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re putting the spotlight on some of the most inspiring women in the creative industries on The Dots.

Over the rest of the week, we’ll be highlighting their work, thoughts on what it means to them to be in the creative industries, their inspirations, aspirations, iconic role models and sage words of advice.

Next up, we have Eve Lee, founder of London-based agency Digital Fairy who specialises in creative youth digital projects for their clients.
What does it mean to you to be female and in the creative industries?

It probably means the same to me as it would to a male – the fact I don’t hold too much thought on the fact I’m a female with a job is probably a sign, in our culture, attitudes have shifted for the better.

Do you have words of wisdom for other women looking to break into the industry?

Girls should never say ‘I’m so bad with technology’. With tech, a lot of it is self-taught, utilise the internet – it has unlimited resources available to boost your digi abilities.

Who is your all time female creative icon?

Dolly Parton!

Check The Dots, our blog, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for inspirational insight throughout the week.
