Addressing homelessness and increasing affordable housing opportunities was an ongoing objective for Governor Cuomo. From putting pressure on slumlords and pursuing lawsuits against aggressive and immoral price gouging, to raising awareness of addiction services, to increasing affordable and subsidized housing units across the state, the effort was broad and intricately interwoven.
It was also not often a topic that had a lot of attention in the media. Our digital work centered around making the topic relatable and highlighting the many initatives going on around the state by breaking down the information into digestible social content.
