“Air Chair” is based on the traditional braided chair stool, but made with industrial, innovative and unconventional materials falling into disuse at the end of their life cycle. All this provides a modern and different look, based on the idea of reusing materials that rarely reach recycling systems.
Mainly it has two basic elements. On the one hand, we find a wooden Stool, a simple and basic structure. Also the inner tubes form discarded bicycle wheels that make the seat braiding encompass the stool to form a cabinet.
Seat functionality is retained with decorative aesthetic power. Also, with braided bicycle tubes, lower seat hardness is achieved by merging it with the symbolism of craftsmanship and tradition.
