Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

This is a live brief set by Pan Macmillan, alongside YCN. The aim was to reinterpret the classic novel written by Lewis Carroll.

My response for the cover design focused on the scene from the book where Alice's neck begins to grow as a result of drinking a mysterious potion. I visualised this by creating a bookmark out of her head which can be pulled out from the cover, creating the illusion of the growing neck.

I was lucky enough to be selected to receive a YCN student award for this project and later went on to be awarded a special commendation on behalf of Pan Macmillan, receiving the special YCN wooden trophy, 2015
