The Passport Express was the train experience of a lifetime. On a fellowship with Passion Passport and Amtrak, a group of wanderlust creatives each with a desire and appreciation of travel met in Washington D.C. Journeying across America by train on an intense whirlwind adventure. We explored the USA from the high rises of Chicago to the glacial vistas of Montana, Wineries in Oregon, a boat party in San Francisco, and met locals at every stop.
Amtrak set the standard of immersive travel, highlighting the importance of enjoying the journey as much as the destination and providing strangers the vehicle to cultivate friendships that have resonated beyond this once of a lifetime travel experience and are holding strong today. This remains their most successful advertising campaign to date and one of my favorite travel experiences.
