Auckland District Health Board made the decision to change their values, with the goal of improving staff happiness, behaviour and work ethic. The Auckland DHB wanted to present the new values with a lasting impact, and have the design compliment their goal in changing behaviour. The challenge we faced was designing an identity that people could feel culturally affiliated to, when the current setting is very corporate. We designed an artistic system that could be imbedded throughout the Auckland DHB experience, beyond cliche posters and pamphlets, and instead, more tangible outcomes like team t-shirts, textiles, thank-you cards, name badges, and welcoming entrances.
