These are the pictures that I have taken from London Zoo, there wasn't any wolves there which was what I was planning on basing a lot of my project around but I took a lot of pictures of other animals that were there. Taking pictures of a lot of these animals were really hard as they were within cages, tanks etc as well as not having a good camera to take good quality pictures. I plan on borrowing a better quality camera from my dad to take some pictures later on during the holidays.
For this new project I will be basing my work around animals. I have chosen to use animals because it is something that intrigues me and something that I will happily stick with and there is a whole load of different things I can do with this topic which opens up a lot of options for me. I have been looking at artists work and pieces of photography that I would like to take elements from and apply to my own work such as using photoshop to produce scenic backgrounds with animals in the foreground. I started my research by looking at Nicolas Evariste who has created images within zoo animals that are in black and white with no background, the quality of his work is what I aim to replicate along with experimenting with different ideas such as different colour schemes. In the end I hope to achieve to find a lot of creative ways to present my work and have already started to produce my work, I have more ideas already in mind that I hope to start carrying out soon.
