Another Day Lost is an art installation exhibition by artist Issam Kourbaj, curated my Louisa McMillan. It took part of Shubbak, a biennale of contemporary Arabic cultural festival. Inspired from Syrian refugee camp, the work is intended to enhance the awareness of Syrians suffering since the uprise in 2011.
I have worked as an assistant helping both the artist and the curator to;
- prepare, install and reinstall the work in 5 venues.
- manage the 28 volunteers and correspond to any troubles so that the exhibition runs smoothly
- manage the social medias (Facebook and Twitter) daily to enhance the inflow
- manage the donation site (just giving)
- manage the expense and income as an accountant.
