Identity is a complex thing particularly when it is displaced from its root. Diaspora comes from the Greek word dia ‘across’ and speirein ‘scatter’. The modern Armenian Diaspora was formed largely because of the Armenian Genocide, and the promise of a better life in foreign lands. This film explores the story of a Syrian Armenian who discusses his experience and emotional consequence of being a member of the Armenian Diaspora.
