B&Q Natural Gardens Creative | Video and Animation Design
Brief: As part of a design task, I was given the option to take one of the attached pins they sent and demonstrate how I would translate it into an engaging, eye-catching piece of creative that would drive action and encourage viewers to take up one of these projects.
Solution: To change the banner style creative they originally sent over and make it into a comic book strip and splitting it across 9 posts on the B&Q Instagram grid. The storyline of a garden needing to be saved and that anyone can be the (s)hero of the story, with the right tools, from B&Q. It’s also a fun way to celebrate 50 years of B&Q. It’s become more of a common practice to divide content across an Instagram grid, to make it more engaging and bring followers to the actual profile to see the full concept. This, would hopefully bring followers to also see B&Q’s other products when they have a scroll.
