BA Hons: Printed Flower

Completing the Textiles for Fashion pathway of the Surface Pattern Design programme, Hannah has explored pattern concealed in the everyday; her ideas and interpretations exploring a wealth of texture, colour and form hidden in plain sight. As a Printed Textile Designer, colour and image are integral to Hannah’s practice alongside her synthesis of process through sophisticated use of digital and analogue techniques. This collection focuses on abstracting the stereotypical floral shape and combining this with texture. There is a constant back and forth between the digital and analogue, showcasing the synergy of the two.
