In Ukrainian cuisine, Babka or Pasochka is a traditional bun, that consists of 2 parts a top, and a bottom, the top is the part which has all the frosting on it, and the bottom is the part which you eat, to start a new piece of babka, to eat another top part. It is usually taken to the church and blessed, but nobody really knows where the tradition of doing so comes from.
