Ballantine's x Boiler Room True Music

Building on a three year partnership between Ballantine's Scotch Whisky and Boiler Room, I helped launch Ballantine's x Boiler Room True Music, a global platform that celebrates and supports pioneering artists that do it their way. The first project was headed up by globally renowned producer and DJ Maya Jane Coles. With Maya at the helm, the True Music platform travelled across South Africa, Russia and Spain throwing killer Boiler Room shows, hosting the first Ballantine's True Music forum and creating campaign content including the True Music EP, which saw Maya hand-pick True Music artists from each country who then remixed a track off her forthcoming album, resulting in a limited edition vinyl and digital release. My role involved project management to ensure everything kept on track, liaising with global and local market clients, liaising with our partners at Boiler Room, managing the creation and release of content and tracking the success of the campaign by monitoring content views and social engagement. Alongside this I also supported the PR side of the campaign around the announcement of True Music, press trips to the Boiler Room shows, media exclusives of campaign content and the strategy behind the release of the True Music EP.
