Bandes de Femmes 2022 exhibition

In collaboration with Libreria Tuba in Rome, I had the opportunity to exhibit in this year's festival of illustration and comics Bandes de femmes. In this exhibition I explore how objects can tell a narrative experimenting with still life and composition as a means to explore various themes surrounding trans-feminism, one of the main theme being the reflection on social constructionism surrounding gender. Through my explorations I am celebrating the diversity of our unique identities and inventions pioneered by women as well as inventions that helped move our rights forward. Rather than commenting, I am inviting the audience to question and have a conversation about these issues and themes in a more playful manner.
