Bar Raval, Berlin

  • Corinna Warm
Interior and Furniture Design for Berlin based Tapas Bar owned by Atilano González, German actor Daniel Brühl and partners.

Bar Raval is located in Berlin’s lively neighbourhood Kreuzberg.
The owners insisted on creating an authentic Tapas Bar: original tiles were sourced from Barcelona and accessories and vintage posters from elsewhere in Spain. Bar Raval’s interior includes classical bar elements and mixes modern finishes and details with authentic Spanish building components and materials. The light flooded space features an open kitchen cube; a prominent back bar displays the impressive wine selection on offer and informs the customers of daily and seasonal specials. High tables and stools create an informal atmosphere in the bar area, whilst seated dining is offered in the back of the restaurant for a more formal dining experience.

Since it’s opening in 2011 the restaurant has attracted a loyal fan base and has been growing its reputation across Germany and abroad.
