Be good to yourself

  • Paula Wojciechowska

‘Look at us, we are just looking at the perfect sunset, we are perfect, we are just happy, everything is great, everything is fine, we are fine, yes we are fine…uffff...*deep breath*... You are saying it to yourself 100th time while walking down the street feeling a sense of heaviness in your heart and you don’t know why. You turn around to next person and you see super freaking happy, smiley face. But you look at your own reflection on the side and you also see the same super freaking happy, smiley face but with one small difference – you can recognise this familiar, sad and lonely reflection in your eyes. What the hell is wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with us?... If it doesn’t sound familiar to you, you are a lucky one, congratulations! To all others who sometimes feel that way – you are not alone. How do we maintain our inner peace in the world which is so wounded? How do we cope with the mad spectrum of the constant drama in the news and amazing perfect life of our all friends on Instagram? I DON’T KNOW. At least, for now. But at least we know the tools which can get us closer to the solution – we can meditate, write, dance, paint, play… Not much? It has to be enough for now but I just want to tell you one thing – until you find out any answers or solutions, remember that you are not alone. You are not first going through it, you are not the last one. Often times we feel like we are alone, we feel like it’s only us, we feel like we are in the bubble totally disconnected from others. Hold on to that fundamental quality of faith, have faith, that on the other side of your pain or struggle, is something good. Remember, always honestly express yourself, be self-aware of your inner self, be the best friend for yourself and always be kind to yourself. Hi, my name is Adam and this is my humble message for you all! ❤’ @5032adam . . . Adam is my mood booster and another ‘reason’ why I thank myself this morning for deciding to do THIS. For stalking people and asking them to write those stories, to go outside their comfort zone to get THIS. Maybe you’ll read it, maybe you won’t. If you will leave a ❤️. For him, for me, for you, for us. Adore you, Adam,❤️
