Beatitudes

Beatitudes is a short film directed by Aristotelis Maragos. ( Awarded by Drama Film Festival 2011 as Best Newcomer Director)

Beatitudes examines the ageing generation of the ‘60s who moved from the countryside to the big cities, worked hard, created a family and now is numb, facing the economic and political changes of greek society that leads them to judge their past.
Against a backdrop of riots in the streets, the story is presented through a series of portraits - vignettes of his life that illustrate his perception of reality, where the dead and the living co-exist.
