The Belva housing is a project located in the Bangka area, south Jakarta. This project is a form of cooperation between LC Development and Studio Air Putih architecture firm. Consists of 12 houses, Belva reflects the best of modern elegance with a careful balance of functionality to meet the needs of today’s lifestyle. The concept of Belva project is to design modern, minimalist and tropical houses. With land scarcity as one of the limitations, the units were designed effectively in terms of room programs and arranged in the opposite side of each other. With this consideration, privacy became the main concern in the design. Thus, we came up with the idea of using sun shading attributes in the form of line elements, as a buffer for the interiors. These elements later on became the trademark for the housing units.
